This heavy-duty swing-arm single-shaft shredder is purpose-built for processing coconut fiber, coir, coconut husks, shells, and a wide range of biomass materials. Its robust construction and intelligent control system make it equally effective for size reduction of flexible, medium-hardness, and voluminous products, including materials fed in bales.
The machine features a fast-acting hydraulic swing pusher that is controlled by a PLC system. The pusher automatically adjusts its force based on real-time motor load, pushing material consistently toward the cutting rotor to maximize throughput and prevent jamming. Depending on the model, material type, and application, processing capacities typically range from 1,500 kg/hr to over 9,000 kg/hr.
A replaceable screen mounted beneath the cutting rotor controls the final particle size, ensuring all shredded material exits at or below the specified mesh size. The rotary cutter is equipped with an auto-reverse function that activates instantly when stubborn or excessive material cannot be shredded. This protective feature prevents motor overload and mechanical damage while maintaining continuous, uninterrupted operation. The entire machine is controlled through a user-friendly PLC interface. Operators can manage every function directly from the control panel, and an auto mode is available for fully automatic operation, improving working efficiency and reducing labor requirements.
