The PNMF series is a disc-type PVC film pulverizer designed for flexible and low-hardness plastic materials. Unlike the PNMP turbo-blade series used for rigid PVC pipe and profiles, the PNMF uses a centrifugal disc mechanism: material is fed through the centre of a fixed grinding disc and carried outward through the grinding gap by centrifugal force, producing fine powder in the 20–120 mesh range at 30–600 kg/h depending on model.
Important for PVC film processing: raw PVC film cannot be fed directly into this machine. Film must first be processed through an agglomerator machine to compact loose film into densified granules before pulverising. This two-step process is standard for all flexible PVC film recycling applications.

The PNMF series handles flexible and medium-hardness thermoplastics that are unsuitable for turbo-blade pulverisers. Primary materials include agglomerated PVC film, PVC artificial leather, and soft PVC sheet offcuts. The machine is also used for PE, PP, PS, ABS, EVA, PET, and nylon powder production where a consistent 20–120 mesh output is required for compounding, masterbatch, or rotomoulding applications. The PNMF-300 and PNMF-400 are commonly used for small-batch or R&D production; the PNMF-600 and PNMF-800 are specified for continuous industrial-scale powder output.
PVC Film Pulverizer Description:
For PVC film grinding, the film needs to be treated with an agglomerator machine first and then grind.
PNMF series is available with disc diameters from 300 to 800 mm. These plastic pulverizing machines are high-speed, precision grinders for the processing of medium-hard, impact-resistant and friable materials. The material to be pulverized is introduced through the center of a vertically fixed grinding disc which is mounted concentrically with an identical high-speed rotating disc. Centrifugal force carries the material through the grinding area and the resulting powder is collected with a blower and cyclone system. Depending on the application the machines can be equipped with one-piece grinding discs or grinding segments.
The plastic pulverizing machine is mainly composed of an electric motor, disc-type blade, feeding fan, vibrating sieve, dust removing system, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does PVC film need to be agglomerated before pulverising?
Raw PVC film is too light and flexible to feed consistently into a disc pulveriser — it tends to bridge at the feed inlet and wrap around moving parts rather than passing through the grinding gap. Agglomeration compacts loose film into dense, free-flowing granules (typically 3–8 mm) that feed evenly into the PNMF disc centre by gravity and vibration. Skipping this step results in irregular powder output and risks disc damage.
What is the difference between the PNMF and PNMP series?
The PNMP series uses a turbo-type blade disc and is designed for rigid PVC materials such as pipe, profiles, and hard sheet (15–100 mesh, 100–900 kg/h). The PNMF series uses a centrifugal flat disc mechanism and is designed for flexible or medium-hardness materials including agglomerated PVC film, soft sheet, and a broad range of thermoplastics (20–120 mesh, 30–600 kg/h). The two series are not interchangeable for their respective primary materials.
Can the PNMF process materials other than PVC film?
Yes. The PNMF handles a wide range of medium-hardness thermoplastics: PE, HDPE, PP, PS, ABS, EVA, PET, and nylon are all within the machine’s operating range. For each material, disc gap and screen mesh are adjusted to match the target powder specification. Highly abrasive or very hard materials (e.g. rigid UPVC pipe) are better suited to the PNMP series.
