Plastic Floor Recycling Pulverizer Application Areas:
PVC foam sheet and board recycling. PVC foam board manufacturers generate consistent offcut volumes from panel cutting and edge trimming. These offcuts — typically 5–20 mm thick sheets with cellular foam structure — are fed into the PNMP after primary size reduction by a crusher. Output powder (40–80 mesh) is used as a filler component in new foam board extrusion or as a secondary filler in PVC pipe and profile compounds.
PVC and LVT flooring recycling. Flooring installation contractors and distributors accumulate cut waste, rejected panels, and damaged stock from LVT, SPC, and WPC floor products. The multi-layer composite structure (UV coat + 0.3–0.7 mm wear layer + decorative film + 3–6 mm rigid base) can be pulverised directly — no delamination required. Output powder is suitable for reuse in SPC base layer production, PVC construction materials, or as a calcium carbonate and PVC blended filler.
SPC floor production line scrap. SPC floor production lines generate trim waste and rejected boards at the cutting stage. These are commonly pulverised in-line and reintroduced directly into the SPC base layer compound mix at controlled ratios.

Plastic Floor Recycling Pulverizer Description:
The PNMP PVC foam sheet and plastic floor recycling pulverizer is configured to handle two material categories that standard PVC pulverisers are not optimised for. The first is low-density PVC foam board (including PVC foam sheet, Forex/Sintra board, and PVC crust foam board): bulk density as low as 0.4–0.6 g/cm³ means the vibrating loader must handle a high volume-to-weight ratio — the machine produces powder at 100–500 kg/h depending on foam density, toward the lower end of its capacity range for this material type. The second is multi-layer PVC plastic flooring (LVT, SPC, WPC, and homogeneous vinyl): these floor products are composed of multiple laminated layers of varying hardness — UV coating, wear layer, decorative film, and PVC or stone-plastic composite base. The PNMP turbo-blade disc handles the full composite cross-section without requiring layer separation before grinding, outputting a mixed powder suitable for reuse in lower-specification PVC applications or as filler material.
Plastic Floor Recycling Pulverizer Technical Features:
- Handles low-density foam sheet input — the vibrating loader and grinding chamber geometry accommodate the high volume-to-weight ratio of PVC foam board (bulk density 0.4–0.6 g/cm³); pre-crushing to 20–50 mm pieces is recommended before feeding to maintain consistent throughput.
- Processes multi-layer composite flooring without delamination — the turbo-blade disc grinds LVT, SPC, and WPC composite floor structures in a single pass; UV coating, wear layer, and base materials are reduced together, eliminating the need for upstream layer separation.
- Adjustable output fineness (15–100 mesh) — blade gap tunable via feeler gauge during operation; foam board recycling typically targets 40–60 mesh; SPC scrap reintroduction typically targets 60–80 mesh.
- Closed-loop classification — vibrating screen returns oversized particles to the disc automatically; important for foam board processing where inconsistent pre-crush size can produce variable input particle geometry.
- Dual water-and-air cooling — maintains stable processing temperature; important for SPC and LVT floor materials which contain calcium carbonate filler that increases abrasive wear and heat generation compared to pure PVC.
- SKF bearings, Siemens motor — standard specification; SKD-11 blades recommended for SPC and WPC floor materials due to higher abrasive content from calcium carbonate and mineral fillers.
Plastic Floor Recycling Pulverizer Components:

 |
Vibration Loader
Meters material into the grinding chamber at a controlled volumetric rate. For low-density PVC foam sheet (bulk density 0.4–0.6 g/cm³), the loader operates at higher vibration frequency to compensate for the material’s low mass-per-volume ratio and maintain consistent disc loading. |
PVC Pulverizer Disc
Turbo-type disc handles both low-density foam board and high-density composite floor materials without configuration changes. Blade gap is adjusted to match target output mesh: wider gap for foam board recycling compound filler (40–60 mesh), tighter gap for SPC line reintroduction (60–80 mesh). |

PVC Pulverizer Blade
SKD-11 high-chromium steel recommended for SPC and WPC floor materials — the calcium carbonate and mineral filler content in these composites increases abrasive wear on blades compared to pure PVC. D2 steel is adequate for processing clean PVC foam board. |
Conveying pipe :
304 stainless steel, double-layer water-cooled. The stainless construction prevents iron contamination in the powder stream — relevant when recycled floor powder is reintroduced into light-coloured SPC base layer formulations. |
 |
 |
Vibrating Screen
Real-time powder classification. For foam board processing, where pre-crush size variation can be higher than for granulated chip input, the automatic return of oversized particles to the disc is particularly important for maintaining output powder consistency. |
Intelligent Control
PLC panel with fault detection. For floor recycling lines running SPC scrap back into production, consistent powder output quality is process-critical — automated fault halting prevents undetected powder quality drift reaching the compound mix. |
 |
 |
Bags Type Dust Catcher
Standard dust control. Adequate for foam board recycling, which generates relatively low dust load. For SPC and LVT floor recycling where calcium carbonate fines are present, pulse dust collector is recommended. |
Pulse Dust Collecter(Optional)
Recommended for SPC, LVT, and WPC floor recycling applications. Calcium carbonate dust from composite floor grinding has finer particle size than pure PVC dust and requires higher filtration efficiency to meet workshop air quality requirements. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the machine process PVC foam board and SPC flooring without pre-crushing?
Pre-crushing is recommended for both material types. PVC foam board panels (typically 1,220 × 2,440 mm sheets) need to be reduced to 20–50 mm pieces before feeding — the vibrating loader inlet cannot accept full-size panels. SPC and LVT flooring planks (typically 1,200–1,800 mm long) similarly require reduction to 30–50 mm chips by a granulator or crusher before entering the grinding chamber. Running oversized pieces directly causes inconsistent disc loading and accelerated blade wear.
Does the machine separate the different layers in composite PVC flooring before grinding?
No — and separation is not required. The PNMP grinds multi-layer composite floor structures (UV coat, wear layer, decorative film, SPC or LVT base) as a single combined input. The output is a mixed-composition powder that reflects the overall material blend of the floor product. This mixed powder is suitable for reuse in SPC base layer production, PVC construction sheet, or as filler material where single-polymer purity is not required. For applications requiring separate wear layer and base layer powder streams, physical delamination upstream would be needed — this is uncommon in standard recycling workflows.
What blade specification is recommended for SPC floor recycling?
SKD-11 high-chromium steel blades are recommended for SPC and WPC floor materials. SPC flooring typically contains 60–70% calcium carbonate filler by weight, which significantly increases abrasive wear on the grinding disc blades compared to processing pure PVC. SKD-11 offers higher wear resistance (HRC 60+) under these conditions. D2 steel blades are adequate for pure PVC foam board, which has much lower abrasive content.
